AUTOMOTIVE MACHINIST NEEDED - SANFORD FL

Title: Machinist – Help wanted/ Sanford Fl. Location

Brief description of duties:

A typical work day involves tearing down and cleaning 4 cyl engine block assemblies, using the Berco boring bar, the Sunnen SV-10 Diamond hone, and the RMC surface milling machine. If you also have cylinder head experience using the SERDI 3.0 this is a plus as well.

Heavy lifting of up to 150 lbs is sometimes required.

Typical requirements:

Knowledge of Mitsubishi and Subaru engines helpful
2-5 year experience in automotive machining and assembly
Ability to multitask and work unsupervised is a must

Salary:

Negotiable with experience, all resumes must include salary requirements. There is a base salary plus bonus on production and quality assurance measures.

Company offers 401k, company health insurance, and paid vacations after one year of service.

The ability to custom build an engine and have full quality assurance control by doing all the machine work in house has helped to separate us from all of the small jobber shops who compete daily on the Internet.
